We go through so much packaging these days, don't we? So it's great when someone like Heidi Borchers comes up with a clever way to make fun recycled jewelry.
She made this pair of glue and glitter whimsical purse earrings out of simple packaging. It's neat how she saw the potential from the small plastic hanger tags. As you can see from her video tutorial, a clever and careful bit of step by step gluing and adding glitter transformed them! Makes you have a second look at stuff you throw away after a shopping trip, eh?
She also shared a great tip about using a DIY tape nozzle to make small application dots.
It really doesn't have to be purses either. Be creative and come up with something different!
