I thought I should try more polymer clay projects especially after I saw this tutorial on how to use silicone molds for this medium.  Silicone molds are most often used to make epoxy resin designs.

It's not a clear demonstration of color shifting but still a great inspirational idea.   Color shifting is when the different hues change depending on the lighting and viewing angle.

She also uses clear resin at the end to create water droplets on the "lily pad". The resin is also used to add the tiny gold beads along the frog's back and to give a clear coat to the whole thing.
