Black and white has been an enduring combination for centuries. The colours could not be more vividly contrasted as shown by Susan's creation. Like yin and yang, day and night.
Susan used some black and white lampwork beads ( swirls and bumpy ) that she had come across elsewhere. She teamed them up with black glass bicones and white glass beads with swirls. The daisy metal beads tied the whole design with the Tibetan silver toggle clasp.
This bracelet reminds me of black and white masquerade balls which are still held today.
