A brand new teenager, thirteen year old Courtney is able to design very quickly. So she easily nailed a couple of necklace designs at a beading party in a single afternoon.
She was diligent in making her jewelry and needed very little help in the design process. However, from the corner of my eye, I occasionally thought there was something different about Courtney but could not put my finger on it. It wasn't until I took the second photo that I had noticed she had changed her outfit.
To come to think of it now, I am not sure exactly how many times she went upstairs in total to switch her outfits. But from the photos I took, I am certain it was at least twice!
As you can see from her first design here, she was deliberately matching the colour of the glass beads of her bare wire necklace to her top and lacey camisole. The naturally coloured large mother of pearl shell flower was a becoming focal point. Working with outfits certainly helped inspire this beader.
