Carol's chain maille adventures continue here. She came up with this focal piece for a chain maille necklace at one of our workshops. The copper and bright aluminium rings look great together. She first joined together the top row of copper rings before forming the triangle below. Carol originally kept the center top part open hoping that she could hang some beads in the space. However, when she held up the piece, there wasn't enough structure to hold the triangular shape together so she had to abandon the idea. Sometimes ideas just don't pan out. She added more rings in the middle and still came out with a stellar design!
