Alexandra is only 9 years old but she, like many of the children I have featured shows her unfettered designing style. Whilst some adults hesitate, children rarely do. They know exactly what they like and want.
Alexandra was on a mission to design something not just for herself but for her older sister and a cousin. She was taken with the large hoop earring findings - the only other beader who has taken to this style was also a young girl. Alexandra added a mix of turquoise and pink beads for a feminine look.
She then made two bracelets, one for herself and the other for her cousin. See those large turquoise hand painted bead focals? She added little white translucent flower bead caps on either side. Sweet idea.
