How to Make a Water Bracelet for Kids Tutorial

It might not be the same for some of you but in my neck of the woods, it's March Break. We're nearly half way through the 2 week school break. If you have younger children, this might be a good time to find extra crafts for them to do.  It doesn't have to be a school break.  Any time they are bored or whenever you want to spend some quality time with them!

This tutorial is by Innova Crafts. The project involves using a glue gun and lots of glitter and sequins. So adult supervision and/or assistance is necessary for younger kids. There are all kinds of colorful duct tape available these days.

  1. How fun is this? Bet my granddaughters would love making these cute bracelets. Now I'm wondering if one could use mineral oil instead of the water and if there is some type of glue that would seal the ends together ( the way that the pvc glue does to pvc pipe) ? And maybe some pretty glitter mixed in with the seed beads?

  2. I would avoid oil simply because it's a pain to clean up compared to water. Yeah, some waterproof glue would do the trick. Definitely add the glitter!

  3. At my jewelry show this past weekend I got lots of requests for fun jewelry for middle school age girls. This looks perfect! Thanks.
