Have you ever considered incorporating chains, beads and possibly gemstones into clothing rather than as separate jewelry pieces? One past designer I featured was Haute Ice who designs bejeweled necklines in ballroom dancing gowns. You can also see more examples in another post on clothing with inbuilt jewelry.
Here is another awesome example. Australian designer, Gwendolynn Burkin`s lovely beaded necklines featured strongly in her catwalk collection at last month`s L`Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival. The sparkly beads certainly add to the illusion of bejeweled necklines, don`t they?

Those gowns are lovely...saves having to decide what accessories to wear... :0)

Very pretty - wish I had that body to go with them!
ReplyDeleteI've always loved that kind of thing but don't have the body - or the place to wear that kind of thing either. But they really are lovely!
