Fun Statement Ring Designs and Tutorials / The Beading Gem

There are statement necklaces. So why not statement rings? Big, across-several- fingers rings are all the rage.

One of my favorite handmade designers of such quirky rings is Luckyduct on Etsy aka as Rachel Pfeffer. Just check out her shop and past sales and you will see what I mean.

Shown above is her Pacman ring set which packs a lot of geeky cool. It sold as did the Ms Pacman ring. Perhaps she will make another if you ask?

Still for sale are her honeycomb jewelry including this ring complete with honeybee! And her brass hotdog ring? Cute!

TUTORIALS
Here are some fun tutorials for making rings which everyone will notice!

First up is Jenna C's tutorial on Cut Out and Keep. The butterfly applique ring is really pretty if you dare to wear it. As you can see from the DIY video by NY Design, you can use any sort of applique - yes, even smaller ones!

Double rings or multiple rings actually joined together are another version. Jenna C's studded ring tutorial cleverly uses studs on tape! The accompanying video tutorial by the NY Design Shop explains how it's done.
