My favorite of her different collections is her confetti inspired one where each and every spot is hand punched from pre-loved leather.  Pointilism in jewelry form!

What do I look for when I hunt for tutorials?  I like to see something different and a huge bonus if the tutorial is also easy.  Such is the case with these two tutorials by Sonysree Creations.  The first is for earrings. The spiral effect reminds me of pinwheels.

The Baltic Sea is the source of inspiration for two glass artisans from St Petersburg, Russia.  Lada Tazetdinova and Ekaterina Kotova are the designers behind Driftland where many of the glass pieces feature crashing ocean waves and surf.

I like my resin rings - they are comfortable to wear as well as colorful.  However, they are limited to whatever I use as molds. Florida based Bobbi Maw should really call herself the ring lady!  That is because her signature item in her Etsy store, My Wired Imagination, are rings! These are all wire wrapped with the clever use of prong set crystals or gemstones together with Swarovski crystals. The prong set crystals are also known as sew-ons. These are typically used in the garment and handbag accessories industry but they lend themselves very well to jewelry designs.

Druzy and Raw Geode Rings

Chicago based designer, Christina Rose specializes in raw crystal jewelry.  Bold and one of a kind. The unique Bohemian jewelry and contemporary designs are created with druzy, raw crystals and small geodes.  Also noteworthy is her uncommon use of Herkimer diamonds - which aren't really diamonds but double terminated quartz crystals.

I always enjoy seeing flowers bloom in my garden. But if you are like me, beaded flowers are also wonderful to see and make.  I just love this really pretty rose petal beaded ring tutorial by Natibeads.  This is the work of  Nati Calle of Spain. Check out her other pretty designs on Instagram.

There is something lovely about knotted designs of all kinds. Here is the beaded knot kind courtesy of Stephanie of Bronzepony Beaded Jewelry.  The designs are not hard to make and many of you will enjoy creating them as Stephanie does in front of the tv! My favorite is her Lover's Knot bracelet tutorial. You can make these in different color combinations.

I've long had the opinion that people who are good with polymer clay may well have an easier time learning to make metal clay jewelry.  Forming the clay, drying it and then firing it (with a torch or kiln) to remove the binder in the clay. This results in a near pure fine silver piece of jewelry. Seems a lot easier than using traditional metalsmithing techniques, don't you think?

Laser cutters are increasingly being used by jewelry designers. One such group is the Italian artisans behind Mr Nico.  Theirs is a unique collection of laser cut and laser engraved geometric jewelry. They combine new technology with craftsmanship as each piece is hand finished and painted.

Christina of CSL Designs shares amazing wire jewelry tutorials which I have collected!  Here is another great tutorial for a ring with an open focal area.  I think is great for someone starting out with wire weaving.  There are just two base wires of 20G.  The wire weaving is done with 26 G.  I do not recommend using 28 G for weaving simply because it is too fine. 26 G has a greater visual impact.

Button rings are fun to make, especially if you stack 2-3 of them together.  I've made many myself but used only 20 G wire. Check out this Judy Freyer Thompson wire ring tutorial which uses thick wire - 14 G.

Do you know what a wire rosette ring is?  It is the classic wire ring without the gemstone. The two wires just spiral around and around.  But it takes a creative person to go beyond that simple idea. Emily van Leemput over on Instructables designed this spectacular wire wrapped dragon ring tutorial based on the rosette.

This tension set gemstone wire ring tutorial by Peter Keep of Jewelry Advantage is so clever in its simplicity. The ring is created from a 16 cm piece of 15 G round wire which has the ends soldered together. The large ring is then compressed so that the two rounded ends are interlocked. The gemstone is then held in place with those ends acting as prongs.

Cabochons are not only for pendants!  You can indeed wire wrap smaller cabochons for rings.  Int his collection, the designer-instructors use different techniques to capture the stones. OxanaCrafts' copper wire woven cabochon ring tutorial can also be oxidized.

Mixing metals in all metal jewelry designs is a wonderful way of adding color to the pieces. One artisan who does this well is Tammy of TammysTreasureChest.  This Louisiana based artisan combines sterling silver with copper and gold in striking ways.  Although she named some of her bold bracelets and cuffs and simple rings male jewelry, they can be be considered unisex.
