Some of the most spectacular jewelry are those made from crystals - you can see some lovely examples from my past book review on Crystal Brilliance. Or you could up your wire skills for something like the awesome Swarovski Flower bracelet tutorial. The former needs time, the latter, wire work experience.

However, there is a third option - use large ready made crystal components to short cut and simplify the design process. There are many such large crystal encrusted pendants, earring findings or even closures to chose from. Check out my past post on how to make chains from connectors to see a lovely Swarovski filigree pendant.

The above crystal bead bracelet tutorial is by Absolute Crystal Components. As you can see the centerpiece base of the bracelet consists of two linked pendants. Further charms, dangles and beads were added to the area.
The above aquamarine crystal bracelet tutorial also by Absolute Crystal Components shows a very clever use of a crystal studded magnetic closure. The closure is actually the focal part of the piece!  Another more elaborate variation is the Tulip Beads bracelet tutorial.

This elegant Black Bead Flower Set tutorial was designed by Evette Rana of Rings and Things. The design features large Swarovski galactic beads and two large fancy flower clasps to give this bracelet plenty of oomph in a jiffy!

I also like this other tutorial  called Pink Hearts bracelet also by  Absolute Crystal Components. The components are actually photo frames without any photos in them. Who says you have to fill frames?

You can also use many Swarovski studded spacers or slider components for that extra oomph!  Check out Carole Rodger's crystal memory wire bracelet tutorial.
