I first came across Spanish based Kukla Studio on Craftgawker and you can see why I was immediately taken with her wonderful wire and resin work. Her unique landscape and nature inspired earrings look rather like stained glass. Her attention to detail and love of color all add to the light enhancing special technique she uses.
Here are some of my favorites from her Etsy store. She concentrates on earring designs. Note that her earrings are not matching pairs. Each delightful one compliments the other. Some of her earring photographs are taken without the ear wires to better show off her artistry.

They are so beautiful and delicate. Love them.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely lovely and unique.
ReplyDeleteSo incredible! Love the intricate details. I've made some similar leaves with wire and liquid polymer clay, but they are much 'clunkier' than these delicate little ones made with resin. Really lovely jewelry!
ReplyDeleteOoooo, these are fabulous. Would love to see this on a wide cuff. Love it!!
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous. I love "resin plique a jour" techniques in all styles, but this is probably going to be my favourite resin artist. Love her style!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful! I love stained glass work but never tried it because the thought of working with razor sharp cut glass intimidated me.
ReplyDeleteWorking with resin, now that's a horse of a different color, no glass cuts to worry about and no glass splinters either, plus I bet the finished piece is far lighter in weight too than glass would be.
Curiosity got the better of me, as it usually does, and I had to visit Kukla Studio's etsy shop. It was well worth the detour, her shop is a joy to browse and her wirework is ingenious.
