Two things were certain from last week's Wire Wrapped Bangle Giveaway from Melisma Wirework. Not only did many people love hand crafted wire work and appreciated Aparna's design, others were also impressed by the beauty of her homeland.
Nina said it all, "What a beautiful country she lives in! I wish I could visit there and learn about the culture. The shell being the primary focus instead of the pearls, already tells me a lot. This would make a very meaningful gift."
Although lots of people wanted to win this bangle, only one person did. And that person, according to the number drawn by random.org, is lin3arossa !! Congratulations! I'll bet you will always remember Pigeon Island, Sri Lanka from now on!

ReplyDeleteDear Pearl,
The Maharaja exhibition was simply spectacular! One of the best we've ever had in Toronto. I think I'll have to make a second visit, there was so much to absorb. The miniatures were out of this world, I could spend hours and hours with some of them.
I am so happy we have a winner and my little piece of sun is traveling all the way to Germany! This is very exciting for me. It gives real pleasure to know that someone, somewhere in the world, is wearing a little piece of my work. I suppose that's every craftsman's joy.
We finally have our first snow... getting ready for a white Christmas!
Happy beading,
Aparna
