When PJ Tool and Supply, an online tool retailer and wholesaler contacted me about their new line of designer metal stamps called ImpressArt, I was definitely impressed! What's more, one lucky reader will receive one set of their choice for this giveaway post courtesy of PJ Tool and Supply.
The high quality stamps are "designed by artists for artists" and are a wonderful alternative to the usual metal stamps because the scripts are so different. Metal stamping will be so much fun! If you need some stamping help, check out How to Make Metal Stamped Jewelry.
There are 3 ImpressArt designs so far. Ballroom Boogie is my favorite because it's the one you candance stamp away with through the night! I also liked the Rad set for its bold off-kilter font. Wonderland was inspired by Alice in Wonderland. There are other kinds of metal stamps in addition to the fancy ones.
PJ Tool and Supply is a family owned business based in Bay Shore, New York. They have been selling tools for 3 generations! The present owners, Adam and Jeff Wolter's grandfather starting out by purchasing surplus merchandise from the US military.
Do check them out. Some of their supplies are cool and not easy to find elsewhere. Their dental tool sets are not really for dental use but for hobbyists. These might interest you if you are a wax casting, polymer or metal clay worker. I was also intrigued by the magnifier tweezer combo! I actually have a similar flower tool set - a past Christmas gift. It's currently out of stock on their website but if and when they restock I highly recommend it as it really differentiates whose basic tools are whose in the household!
If you are going to attend the To Bead True Blue and The Tucson Bead Show (January 30- February 7), be sure to stop by their booth, # GF195/196 at the main entrance to the Grand Ballroom. They are formally launching 2 brand new fonts and 50 new stamping designs from family stick figures to animals to sports and more at the shows. To celebrate, they will be giving out 9,000 ImpressArt design stamps (a $10.00 value per stamp) to registered attendees!

Thank you again Pearl for another fantastic site!! You always provide your readers with the most interesting articles. I look forward each day to what you have found!! So about this tool company. OMG!! I can't believe the prices of the stamps. I bought a lower case set of stamps last year and paid $100.00 for them. I had to return them because they were SO awful!! These gorgeous stamps with a really neat font were only $70.00!! I do have my list started. You can buy number stamps for $4.50?!!!Thanks again and I really do enjoy your writings.
ReplyDeleteCarol

ReplyDeleteSecond attempt to leave a comment! I am a recent follower and would love one of these stamper sets, they are not that easy to find in the UK.
ReplyDeleteI don't own any letter stamps and haven't really been that keen on getting any, but with all these new fancy fonts it's hard to resist. I was looking at the PJ Tool website the other day and saved Ballroom Boogie lowercase and Wonderland uppercase in my favourites. They look lovely!
ReplyDeleteSo of cause I'd love a chance to win a set. I'm a follower of the blog and on Twitter.
Such fun stamps! I'm just starting to stamp pieces - these choices are GREAT!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!!
I a blog subscriber
ReplyDeleteSo happy to learn of this company - thanks for featuring them! In my former life, I was a typographer for 25+ years, so fonts were my life!
ReplyDeleteJust as slightly different size/style/color/texture beads completely change the look of jewelry, so do different fonts - size/style/color/texture apply to them, as well.
When you factor in the combinations possible with ALL these choices, design power is limitless!
Yes, stamp sets are expensive - so, of course, I'd LOVE to win one.
Thanks SO much for this giveaway!
Oh how I want a set of these letter stamps! I have the page bookmarked for when I get money. My birthday perhaps? It would be awesome to win though!
