I don't make friendship bracelets. However, after spotting Nury R's knotted earrings project (not tutorial) on Cut Out and Keep, I am wondering if I should go back to my past post (see link below) and check out the various tutorials!
It's a form of macrame. I particularly like the smaller scale work and the vivid colors. Don't you?

The earrings are unique and I bet they are as light as feathers. I've never attempted to do micro-macramé as I had a friend that once made some macramé bookmarkers and she said; "Never again!". She was using DMC embroidery floss and little T-pins to hold the tiny little piece in place as she did the wee little knots. Looks like it would require a good magnifier and the patience of Job to create. :)
