One of the most imaginative eco jewelry artisans has to be Michelle over at the Mich in LA blog. I've featured many of her creations before. Here's her shabby chic bangle bracelet tutorial.
Agy over at the Green Issues blog was so impressed and inspired by Michelle's idea that she came up with several versions including this feminine lacy number :
These bracelets will definitely compliment any outfit with newer jeans! Younger fashionistas will love to get one as a gift!

This is such a great idea--what a simple, cute bracelet! I'm not much of a sewer, so this seems like a really easy, not intimidating way to incorporate some fabric into designs.....very clever.
ReplyDeleteHi there! Thanks for featuring me on your lovely blog :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is just too cute. What a great way to recycle old jeans.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Ooh, thank you, Pearl! I love Agy's versions, way cute!
ReplyDeletePerfect bangle for jeans or that denim skirt. Very young and fresh. Add to that the fact that's it's recycling something that might have ended up in a landfill makes it desirably "green" (even though it's really blue).
