I am always on the lookout for pearl cluster necklaces because I like them. Glass pearls and cord are yet another way of getting that pearl fix.
This easy knotted cord and pearl necklace tutorial is by Beads A to Z uses hemp cord but I am sure other colored cords will look just as good. It might be a good idea to pick something rough so the pearls do not move along the unknotted sections that easily. Or keep these sections short.
The tutorial does have a lovely wrapped button loop closure which neatens the look a little. Overall, a great informal design!

I love the combination of "rustic elegance" thank you Pearl for always having such great articles
ReplyDeleteIt is an attractive combination. Creates a very casual look with classic pearls that can be worn with jeans and a T shirt yet not look out of its element.
ReplyDeleteVery nice necklace. I wouldn't of thought that I would like the pearl with the hemp cord, but it looks really nice together. I think it would make a nice bracelet too.
