I've covered how to make hoop earrings before but there is always room for one more. I especially liked Stephanie's easy beaded hoop earrings tutorial over at The Silly Pearl because it is so clear with well- photographed steps. A very good example of how to write a tutorial blog post indeed!
She also showed how this simple design can easily be extended to a matching pendant. This beginner tutorial can be used with all sorts of beads and in different colors.
I do like the name of her blog - pity she grabbed it first because it could well describe me in my ditzier moments! Silly Pearl was her childhood nickname.
If you like to try a little wire wrapping but don't really want to make the hoops themselves, I recommend you buy ready made hoops as shown in the tutorial by Olivia of the My Favourite Things blog. Then wire wrapping in the beads is a snap!
