Hila Rawet Karni 's Industrial Jewelry Designs

Industrial designer, Hila Rawet Karni's creative talent is evident in her previous paper jewelry collection I wrote about.  She has been working hard since then expanding her range to include metals and other materials.   3 years ago, she established a new site called Industrial Jewellery.

Her designs do have an industrial look about them. Her skilful use of springs, paper, aquarium tubes and other materials are truly inspirational. The way she puts together what is essentially just coiled wire into stylish jewelry is certainly novel.

She also introduces color with different types of metal and inclusions.

Hila trained as an industrial designer in Israel, Milan and The Netherlands.  She now designs and makes her handcrafted jewelry in her London studio. Her jewelry can be bought through her website and boutiques in 10 countries.

  1. I love the idea of manipulating a simple coiled conical bead cap into a beautiful earring

  2. I felt I wasn't crazy about the "industrial" look, Pearl... but this is WOW!

  3. I am not big on "industrial" anything---jewelry, architecture, kitchens. However, your jewelry is absolutely creative and beautiful. Thanks for opening my mind.
