Wire trees are lovely as jewelry or as ornamentation. I've covered the popular tree of life tutorials and twisted wire trees before. Having thought I had seen it all, along comes Ken To who changed my view!
This artist makes exquisite miniature wire trees in the bonsai style. Bonsai is the Japanese art form dating back more than 1000 years. Bonsai originated from the Chinese traditional art of penjing or penzai which literally means tray scenery.
His trees are beautifully displayed in trays or on pebbles. His use of different colored wire adds to the visual appeal of the twisted trunks and leafy areas.
Ken's art pieces are pleasing and somehow soothing to look at. The artist clearly enjoys making them showing great creativity and skill.
You can purchase Ken's bonsai trees at his Rondei store.
