A reader recently wrote to me to ask how she could preserve bits of her mother's wedding dress lace as pendants for herself and her sisters.  She had bought some bezels but hesitated using Diamond Glaze as it isn't recommended for fabrics.

I suggested she took a look at Athina Madera of Miseducated's lace resin jewelry tutorial. This project is a basic cast resin one but it does show how lovely lace can look encased in resin. Very feminine!

If you don't have a resin mold but have a bezel instead, then it is a simple matter to cut the lace to size and place it in the bezel before adding the resin.  Consider putting a background material if some contrast color is required.   You could also add all sorts of things like sequins, sparkles and beads if you wish.
