Name necklaces have been around for a number of decades. They became a fashion staple after many celebrities were spotted wearing them. Making your own name necklace from wire is tricky. It's not that easy as you can see from my past attempt. It will also take some serious metal smith skills to work from metal. So if you really want one, and cannot make one yourself, the remaining option is to purchase it!
Onecklace, an international jewelry manufacturer based in Israel specializes in name and monogram necklaces, rings and earrings. Their jewelers in their state of the art factory make several different styles, fonts, and in a variety of metals on demand.
Some are rather fun like the ice cream style shown below in sterling silver.
My favorite designs though were the sterling silver monogram ones with elegant interlocking initials.
They make mostly necklaces but also do rings and earrings.
I also loved their crop circle collection like this gold plated one :

The necklaces are fantastic and I wonder how they make them. Laser cutting, casting ? Whatever method they use, the end result is beautiful.
ReplyDeletePearl, I am a follower of your blog and apologize that, for the past week, I've been so preoccupied with trying to set up a shop on a new Marketplace website called Craftinest that I've had little time for anything else. I've neglected my blog and my blogging buddies, my etsy shop and my other social media sites (not to mention my family, my house and the laundry). The results of which is about 0 visits and views to my etsy shop and a mountain of clothes that need to be washed. :(
Unfortunately I'm a hard-headed little gal (all 4' 10" of me) and I am determined to figure out the new site and get my shop up and running there . . .no matter how long it takes! :)
