I get the impression that leather is a perennial favorite so we could do with more inspirational tutorials, right?  Some designers are indeed very resourceful.  Ellen from Black and White and Loved All Over made this smashing leather tassel necklace. The tassels hang from a leather lace covered embroidery hoop!

Prefer a chain to the embroidery hoop?  Then hop over to Brit + Co's leather tassel jewelry tutorial.  Shown here is their multiple tassel necklace.  But you could also use the same tassel idea for a single pendant and earrings.

This clever tutorial for a dragon's tail necklace by Michele of Michele Made Me makes you wonder if there might be a dragon's head round the back! Sewing leather shapes onto a cord is a great idea!

Erica Domesek of PS I Made This's leather necklace tutorial was designed in collaboration with the Frye Company.  It's a modern design.  What I liked about it was the innovative use of cord with eyelets.

Make good use of small pieces of leftover leather creatively like Madeleine did with her tutorial over on her blog From Rags to Couture.  Leather hole punchers as you realize by now are handy to have when working with leather.  Remember you can also cut up leather handbags you no longer use.

Instead of stacking small pieces, making them into a geometric style is another way to go.  Check out  Heather Joy of Joy of All Crafts' tutorial.

Sibylle Roessler contributed on the Handmade Charlotte blog also had the same general idea with leather scraps only she cut out leather leaves for her tutorial.

Chloe over at Little Livingstone also designed a leather leaf necklace but with a difference. Her design can be further embellished with beads and so on!  Neat!
