The bead and cord wrapped bracelets are still hot! They are fun to make and wear. I've seen and shared the many variations I have come across. Here are a couple of super tutorials based on tila beads. These two hole beads are also rising in popularity.
I really love Sam Applegate of Bead Shop's mosaic wrapped headband tutorial. (Click on any one of the headbands in the link to access the free PDF). There are 7 suggested lovely colorways. The tutorial also explains how to add the elastic section at the back to make the headband easy to wear.
Shown above is the Dunes design which was dreamed up by Janice Parsons who was inspired by the Sahara Desert. The Shewolf pattern design below by Karen Marshall is very elegant!
The mosaic headband design was inspired by Brittany Ketcham's video bracelet tutorial. There are again 7 design colorways to help you out. It was hard to choose a favorite but I finally picked her Mistletoe mosaic bracelet :
Make a matching set and it'll make someone very happy!
