Well, if you can't beat winter, why not celebrate it with some awesome snowflake jewelry? A quick way to make a linked snowflake focal for necklaces is to use brass stampings - either pre-colored or self colored white.  Flat backed Swarovski crystals adorn the brass stampings tutorial from Beadaholique.

A little basic metal work such as this snowflake stamp necklace coupled with a crystal snowflake by Cindy Morris for Rings and Things is yet another technique approach.
