I've seen braided bead strands but knotted? This tutorial on the Muhabbet Sofrasi blog is an absolute gem by coming up with a simple yet highly effective way of knotting bead strands.
The designer cleverly uses 2 double strands of beads - one pair with seed beads and the other with bugles - and loosely knotted them together. No wonder she called it the Love Knot necklace. I for one, love it!
She used yarn strands to illustrate how the knotting is done. The blog post is in Turkish. Google Translate does a very poor job of making it intelligible to those of us who don't speak the language. So rely on the photographs!
