Isn't it frustrating not to win giveaways? The one last week by Yoola Design was so popular that Yael has generously decided to give away a free PDF tutorial for a basic tube (pictured) to those who actually commented. A wonderful consolation prize to many of you!
To claim your tutorial, please email Yael at yooladesign@gmail.com. Add "Beadinggem Freebie" in the subject line. This offer will be open until 6 pm Wednesday July 30, 2015.

What a lovely thing to do! I'm definitely going to email her.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone from Canada ordered from Yoola Design? Just wondering what the postage rates are?
this is awesome - thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi,I'm an ardent fan of your blog which has benefitted me in so many ways. I have really learnt alot from you and I'm glad I found your blog online. I would really love to get this free Yoola design wire knit crochet tutorial. Thanks and please don't stop teaching and reaching out to beaders out there.
ReplyDeleteThe amount of research you do is priceless!
ReplyDeleteWilli - I bought her looms and hooks. Shipping was very reasonable by regular mail.
ReplyDeleteBuzzy - you must have actually commented on the original giveaway post last week to be able to email her for the free PDF.
I just ordered the set .. can't wait to try it... winning the design tutorial would be great.
ReplyDeleteI just found your website and what a wealth of information and guidance. Thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteWelcome, Joybelle! I share a lot of tips and tutorials here. Please go to the section Free Tutorials above and explore!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your brilliant blog - it's a great help for us artisans! I love the look of Yoola's designs, but I actually decided not to purchase her designs or "loom" because she states that there is to be no selling of items made using her pattern - so then what would be the point...? Doesn't take away from her lovely designs, but if you're selling a pattern then you should expect people to enjoy it and use it (obviously so long as they're not selling the tutorial or PDF).
ReplyDeleteBy all means use her patterns to learn her technique and make something to wear. But why would you sell it? It is really not your design. I encourage you to develop your own designs using her tools to sell it. I bought her tools without her patterns for exactly that reason.
ReplyDeletePS. Her tools come with a basic tutorial on how to create the stitch. That's all I need!
ReplyDeleteI like every piece you make, they all are lovely and beautifull. Greetings from Venezuela
ReplyDeleteOh, I love your designs and work, and hope to win this one.
ReplyDeleteReally amazing work!
