Want a thick metallic necklace? An easy way to create one is to wrap a chain around a thick cord necklace. Bev's tutorial over on Flamingo Toes has two great tips. One is how she did the wrapping and the other is the use of a brooch for the focal.
It looks easy but can be tricky to wrap chain around the thick cord. The most important thing is to anchor it well first at one end before you start.
I also like her suggestion of gluing on a bail to a brooch which is not a convertible one. See other solutions in my past post (first link below).
