One of the many innovative Nunn Design jewelry making supplies includes a wonderful channeled basic bangle. It is a very versatile piece as you could add resin clay all the way around and embellish it. But there are other alternatives like this riveted mixed media bangle tutorial by Karen McGoven of Beadkeepers.
She used ribbon for the bangle and riveted round discs and a cold enameled wire ball to it. She punched center holes and dapped (curved into a "dish") the discs before riveting. Check out this past post to see the tutorial on how to use a dapping block.(scroll to the end).
The rivets used are the screw type. Believe me, this is way easier than trying to do nail riveting!
