Kamil and Agata are a young couple from Poland who create really lovely hand painted and marquetry wood jewelry for their shop called PanKos on Etsy. “Kamil spends his spare time on creating graphics and jewelry which is natural, good looking and useful. Agata is keen on making bracelets which are original and one of its kind.“
Their individual styles can be seen in the various design pieces. The graphics which Kamil creates translates into engraved wooden tile bracelets with a beautiful natural finish. The unique patterns can be anything from geometric to even hieroglyphics. The chicken bracelet and owl earrings are delightful!
Then there is the absolutely wonderful marquetry. The piano keys earrings would be perfect for a musician. It is made from bleached maple and ebony and varnished.
The wooden cuffs are often contemporary in style. This one is called the Mahatma after Mahatma Gandhi. A vision with about 80 pieces of wood on the top layer! The base is ash wood.
The beauty of wood burl grain is showcased in this gorgeous walnut on ash cuff.

ReplyDeleteI have been a subscriber of your blog for over a year, and your your posts are always so awesome - I get so many great ideas and discover new techniques every time I read one of your posts! I must admit, I have never been a fan of jewelry with wooden components in the past, but Kamil and Co.'s work has to be the first exception I have ever seen to that rule! Their work is beautiful! The wooden components are understated, beautiful and unique, and their pieces are very finished and professional, with none of the rustic and homemade attributes I have associated with wooden jewelry in the past. Amazing work I would be proud to wear!! Kimatlsu@aol.com
