Swarvoski Pearl Statement Bib Necklace Tutorial

Be still, my beating heart!  I had a little swoon when I saw this Swarvoski pearl statement bib necklace tutorial over on their site, Create Your Style.  It is a fabulous yet easy design because it consists only of stringing with the addition of beaded headpins or eyepins with simple loops either as the connecting bridges or as dangles.

It is a clever use of multi-strands and different sizes of pearls.  Beginners need to note that the beaded head and eyepins are prepared first and then strung on the main necklace strands as it is made up.

Some people think a design needs to be complicated to look good.  I disagree.  Even simple designs can be made to look spectacular. It is just a matter of how you use the materials you have!

  1. That's a good design and the colour scheme is wonderful!

I agree - simple can be just as effective and beautiful!

    1. Yes, that is an eyecatching color scheme. It is not easy to introduce so many hues in one design.

  2. I adore Swarovski's line of Crystal Pearls and wonder how I ever managed without them. They do make for a lovely and elegant bib necklace.
I always felt that the larger bib style necklaces looked very dressy and needed to be worn with evening dresses. However I saw a photo of a model wearing an elaborate bibbed necklace with jeans and a low cut tank top and the look was gorgeous . . . of course so was the model and she could probably have worn an old tire around her neck and still have looked gorgeous.

    1. Those of us who are more mature still benefit from wearing a gorgeous bib necklace - it takes the attention away from our wrinkles and grey hair!! haha.

  3. I would realy like to win this kit. I bought some tutorials and a begginers kit before and realy enjoyed crocheting rings and earings for me and for my girl friends. It helped me go throug some dificult period of time in my life. My name is Orly Shuster and my email adress is:
