She came up with it because she did not have the right earrings display for a particular design.
Great idea to consider making your own display out of wire. It can be any size you want and any shape you prefer. Just play with wire and find what pleases you.
She used an existing earrings display base. But I suggest using resin clay. It has weight and no glue is necessary!
