Jewelry making techniques do turn up as home decor ideas. But rarely though do we find jewelry useful in the kitchen. We are more likely to remove our rings and bracelets before we get seriously cooking. However, a lateral thinking Libbie Summers came up with the idea of using a pearl necklace as a creative pie crimper!
Probably one of the fastest methods for pie crimping I have ever seen. And the best use of cheap plastic beads if you've got a strand around!

Hahahahaha!! Perfect pearls!!
ReplyDeleteMy Mother and I used to get up at 6am every morning and bake 15 pies from May until September. They were usually all sold by 2pm every single day. But - I never knew about all those different ways to fancy up the rim! Whew indeed! I learned a whole lot of things today!
