Sometimes it takes a creative teacher to spark ideas. So it was with Gloria Uhler's book giveaway last week. A number of polymer clay artists among the beaders had not considered using hardware hinges. Linnyt said, "I've done some polymer clay bracelets with jump rings for links. I never thought of hinges. Her projects with the hinges are so much more polished looking. I love the cord one, too. Spring hinges never crossed my mind, even. What a clever artist!" She is indeed!
Jsarina chimed in with "Lord knows I can use all the help I can get. This book would help me step up my game!" The book, Hinged Clay Bracelets: New Ways To Link Polymer Clay Bracelet Parts is indeed full of great ideas to get you going with your own innovative designs.
So who won? I numbered all the eligible entries and got the random number generator over on random.org to pick the winner. And she is Lorraine Gonda! Congratulations!
