Nothing sparkles like Swarovski crystals. Using them adds oodles of elegance to jewelry designs. Here are 3 excellent Christmas Tree earrings tutorials to make for yourself or for others. Fast and easy to do. The first is a clever tutorial by Mylene Hillam of Mill Lane Studio. I love her use of different sizes of connectors. Beautifully photographed too!
This one is by Esther over on Fire Mountain Gems (link no longer available). Great use of conical beads and findings.
The third tutorial using graduated marguerite Swarovski crystals has been around for years! But maybe this might be the first time some of you beginners are seeing this. It is by Tim Cronkhite. Marguerites are certainly underused. This tutorial uses them to full advantage. I first wrote about this design in my collection of Christmas Tree tutorials using different techniques here.

I really like the one with the conical bead caps.
ReplyDeleteIt's so versatile that you could wear the earrings all year round instead of just during the Christmas season!
I also like the conical ones. The "classical" trees are also adorable but I can't picture wearing them before/after Xmas Eve :D !
ReplyDeleteReally? I would happily wear them from December 1 to 25!!
