I had a good chuckle when I received an email from reader, Patricia. She has attended several of my beginner wire work classes at Iguana Beads in Cambridge, Ontario and recently subscribed to my blog. She called my blog "dangerous" and sent me the photo evidence! An avid reader, she attempted Shannon of Charleston Clay Studio's stenciled polymer clay tube tutorial I featured before. Before long she had made a number of tubes :
Patricia added, "It started with the beads and morphed!!!"
Apparently, creativity can be contagious. Patricia is well and truly on her way to a jewelry making addiction. Be warned.

I must confess to all that I also am afflicted and have an addiction. am addicted to beads, metal (be it in sheets or wire), color: enamel, liver of sulpher, paints, chalk, etc for thet metal. I am also addicted to resin and clay (precious metal and polymer). I am also heavily addicted to tools... all tools... hammers, pliers, disc cutters, domeing tools, mandrels of all shapes and sizes, jewelers saw, lots of blades,
ReplyDeleteFlex-shaft and torches! Small, large and in between. Brazier torch for the kitchen? You've GOT to be kidding!!! 😵 No way!!! It's in my studio!!!
And last, but most definitely.... I am addicted to Pearls blog! She is amazing and constantly gets the creative juices heading in more and more directions! Yes. I am addicted... and yes... chocolate and the sounds of tools really help soothe the soul..... 😊👍🏼❤️
