When you work with a particular medium, you want to stand up above the crowd. Alisa Laryushkina, of LiskaFlower does just that. All her polymer creations - not just the animal designs shown here - are made up of little colorful curls of polymer clay. These remind me of curled paper crafts or iced cakes! Delicious and calorie-free!
Alisa explained, "I love Japanese polymer clay and at first, I've been creating flowers. Gradually I came up with my own style of jewelry." She makes a lot of gorgeous and unique brooches and some necklaces and earrings. She can scale down her technique for a pair of adorable animal paw print stud earrings!

I love her style! It's bright and colourful and the 'teardrop design' is captivating.
ReplyDeleteShe's certainly nailed her style down! To me it almost looks like paper quilling - but with bright paper! Love it!
Polymer clay is a wonderful medium that can be used in endless ways. I find that it's something that keeps your interest and is always evolving. Someone is always coming up with something new to do with it and it's always an aha! moment.
