Winner of the Starbond Glue Bundle Giveaway

A reliable glue seems to be a common need as could be seen in the comments from last week's giveaway for a Starbond Glue Bundle. I was glad I could share my experiences with readers everywhere.

Christine said, "Your blog report today on the new flexible CA superglue was very timely. I have had failures similar to the ones you described using other products and it sounds like Starbond CA superglue is the solution."

I found the glue takes a little longer on resin but is fine with polymer clay. This gladdens DL who said, "I work with polymer clay and to finally have a product that is totally compatible is such great news." However,  as I mentioned, I have not tested the glue out in an oven situation but cured pieces should bond together well.

I and some of you are glad to know this glue has a debonder unlike other makes. Delta Jewel is one : "Can’t wait to try this glue. Of course I need to order the debonder since I am gluing my fingers together occasionally. A few weeks ago I glued my forearm to some paper. 🤣🤣🤣 That was a mess to get off." I can so relate!

Canadian readers are wondering where they can purchase the glue.  I did message the company to inquire about the high shipping charge to Canada.  The irregular shipping times during the pandemic forced them to go with courier service. They hope to be able to lower this in time.

However, the best solution for Canadians is to purchase the glues from a Canadian source. Go to their top menu and select store locator.  Type in Toronto for the best results.

So who won?  I numbered all the eligible entries and got the random number generator over on random.org to do the picking.  The lucky winner is Karla Maynor (Schafer). Congratulations!  Hope you will find the glues really useful for all your crafting projects.

  1. Pearl I didn't participate in the drawing for this glue. However I did want to pass on that I did place an order for this bundle deal based on your recommendation. And that is because I have made a large number of purchases based on recommendation you have made and every purchase has been as beneficial as your recommendation has stated. So I just thought I would pass this on to you and to your subscribers! There is a 2nd very important reason I am passing this information on to your subscribers. That reason is this. We are all very aware of the fact that nothing in this world is ever perfect. And one of the greatest risks for anyone who works in making jewelry or any kind of craft at home is trying a new product. So when you find a trustworthy, honest, and very skillful individual like Pearl who does try new products or looks into new methods of crafting or using new materials or different technologies, who also finds new artists who have new and exciting ways of creating a product that falls into the DIY crafting of Jewelry and other related self-made products I feel a certain responsibility to pass this information on to anyone out there who might be a new beginner in the field of designing or making Jewelry for fun or profit. And even to those who are trying a new type of DIY craft that is closely related. Pearls recommendations have saved me from spending money on other unnecessary products, her recommendations have led me to develop some new skills in designing and making Jewelry. So Pearl I just have to say for me Your Blog is at the top of my References for "GO TO INFORMATION on JEWELRY MAKING and DESIGN" Aileen Dodge. ᓚᘏᗢ
