Helena is a British wire jewelry artist who has a refreshing take on the wire ring style. The ring band is what makes it distinctive. She twists two lengths of wire together to form the band which is latter hammered flat. This gives the look of a curb chain.

The ring is made with 20 G wire and 26 G for the wrapping. You can use a variety of beads or crystals for the focal. She uses a cut off piece of crystal from a rhinestone chain.  I like how she gets rid of the unwanted metal!

As you will see from the tutorial, the rhinestone she uses only has two holes so it does move somewhat.  Consider using a 4 hole chaton montee such as these 4 mm beauties from Dreamweddinglove
