Micro macrame is smaller sized macrame designs suitable for jewelry and for keychains. They are super lightweight and great projects for leftover odd beads! The animal themed ones are universal favorites. Many of the ones I found for this feature are easy to make. Be sure to check the links at the end for more.

The adorable macrame turtle shown above is definitely one which can be used as either a pendant or in a keychain. The tutorial is by UK based designer, Vanya of UniqueForYouByVanya. She also has turtle earrings too. She is an amazing designer I featured before. Do check out her awesome designs.

You can also make a different style of turtle using thicker cord. Hint - it's very fast to make. The tutorial is by @kreasierny.

The same designer also has an easier one color turtle tutorial :

Also super easy is this fish with a beaded eye keychain tutorial by @MacrameArtTutorial.

I particularly love this easy macrame butterfly design (←click to see the video) because it is an open style and therefore quick to make.  The designer is @soulfulmacrame.

This dragonfly macrame tutorial was design as earrings. However, the design can be easily adapted for a pendant or keychain.  The various types of beads used is inspiring! The designer is Joan Babcock of MicroMacrameMaven who is a marvellous and inventive micro macrame jewelry designer.

This open frame cat keychain tutorial promises to be fast too. Designed by @Macrameadventure.

Talk about adorable! I just love this llama/alpaca macrame keychain design again by @Macrameadventure!

The same designer came out with this owl keychain design which looks different from both sides.

Last but not least is this cute cow/bull macrame tutorial by Paulina of PolyTusalHandmade
