Bejeweled Cake or Display Stand Tutorial

Sarah over at the Glamour and Grace blog has a lovely tutorial on how to make a bejeweled cake stand. The large crystals dangling from the lace trimmings are just as scrumptious as the cakes!


But other calorie-free ideas include using the decorated stands to display ornaments.  You could also use the stands to hold aloft necklace or other jewelry displays.

  2. They would make for some lovely risers on one's display table. Something a little different than boxes, stacks of books and paint cans draped in cloth.
















    These would make for lovely risers on one’s display table. Something different than boxes, stacks of books and paint cans draped with pretty cloth which, at the end of the day when the jewelry’s been put away and that cloth is removed, looks like a cheap, flea market garage sale.
