Beadwork is not just about making jewelry. You can make all kinds of decor items too! I've written about beaded boxes before (see links below). But Florida based Shannon of TheSparklyEngineer is a whiz because she uses bead embroidery instead which is accomplished on a foundation.
She is adept at making 3D bead embroidered structures such as jewelry boxes, pyramids, obelisks and spheres. These are my favorites from her tutorial collection.
I have seen polymer clay decorated journal covers. But never before the bead embroidered versions! Shannon has several versions available.
