Here is another necklace featuring a moss agate donut with matching cylindrical beads further up. The designer, Cathy wanted an earth toned necklace so she chose round multi-coloured fancy jasper gemstone beads for the bulk of the necklace. Smaller seed beads in muted hues completed the piece.This particular type of donut does have drilled holes so Cathy centred a round fancy jasper inside the hole. She also added two tiny seed beads on either side to hide the wire and keep this gemstone bead central. Notice there are four notched channels on this donut. This would allow wire work if the designer so desires.

Very nice! I haven't seen that kind of donut before, very creative with the bead in the center. I have some silver like that - but no stone. I'll have to keep my eye out!
