Red, white and black is a great colour combination which turns up in many places. Designers love to put them in clothes, furniture, fabric and even national flags for e.g. Yemen. So why not jewelry? Janet used one large faceted black bead as her focal. The handmade red glass beads were a bright contrast to the clear crystals and the black beads. The use of smaller black beads tied in with the black bead. All in all, there is an old world charm about this design.

I really like this---great formally, under a conservative suit, or with that hot "little black dress." I really like the texture and shape of the red beads. Great Job! Teri http://www.sandtcreations.com/wordpress
ReplyDeleteI agree it does doubly duty - at work or with a special outfit!
