Niobium is a great metal for those who cannot wear the usual jewelry metals - not even sterling silver. It is the inert metal used for pacemakers. So Debbie (Widget's Beads) recommended Marilyn use niobium findings for the earrings she was making.
Her granddaughter has metal allergies. The purple earrings are sure to be a hit with her. Those gorgeous beads in Marilyn's second pair of earrings made me make a mental note to check out Debbie's bead collection more closely next time!

I absolutely love Niobium! They can shock it with electricity and it will become almost any color in the rainbow! There are many earthy colors it will anodize to as well as a bronze and a coppery color so it can be used with those metals nicely.
ReplyDeleteWould love to have a bunch of Niobium Wire in the different shades so I can make my own findings with it.
I have none. I'm not sure why.
