Patricia of Color of Dreams followed my blog so I checked out her blog. My jaw dropped at the absolutely beautiful beads and jewelry she makes. I was delighted when she graciously offered the beads you see here as a giveaway.
Patricia has been a crafter for ages. She became passionate about jewelry making after she made a special birthday necklace for her mother's 82nd birthday. She says she sometimes dreams about making beads and jewelry. One thing is certain, those dreams must be in technicolor for she has an exquisite sense of color.
She is celebrating her Etsy anniversary this month with free shipping for her gorgeous earrings. So head on over and check out her Etsy store. She does custom orders too. I am convinced she can do pretty well anything - take a look at her owl pendant when she rose to the challenge of making a Harry Potter inspired necklace.
What do you have to do to win these beads? Easy. Just make a comment below before midnight EST on Sunday August 23rd. The winner will be announced as soon as possible after that. If you don't have an online presence or if you're shy about leaving your real name, use a fake one. In fact funny pseudonyms are positively encouraged!

ReplyDeleteto be perfectly honest, i found your site by accident.i was diagnosed 10 yrs. ago, with a disease that controls you,and your body.it's like becoming a prisoner of your own body.my disease counselor and i are trying to find new things that i am capable of doing, they say i have zero quality of life,i lost everything,it took me 10 yrs.to win my disabilty, that just happened.beading always seemed interesting, but i never had time before between nursing and my kids.the catch is i have very little energy, and if it doesnt stimulate my brain enough i blackout.so,rebuilding is taking quite awhile.beading requires me to concentrate quite a bit,so i am hoping this will be a success for me. right now, i am working on a charm bracelet,i just discovered the other day they have a ribbon to represent my disease,it's the color black.you see my disease is neurological but,it also carries with it a disorder called narcolepsy, most people have never heard of it or they think you just sleep all the time, truth is you don't sleep,it's more like being in a coma like state.in october, there is a conference, and i am going to get to go,this year for the first time, you see i have never met another person with my disease.i would like to say though, your beads are gorgeous, and sorry i rambled, sometimes it just makes me feel better.i love your work,i hope to learn how to make my own beads someday. thanks, barbara @nanniespiperdayle@yahoo.com
