Do you find you avoid certain beads for earring dangles? Like side drilled beads for instance? Well, you can easily make them into dangles by doing a triangular wire wrap. Carolyn's pretty in pink earring design is a perfect example of how it can be done.
Many artisans like to do even more wrapping with briolettes, covering the top of the bead. Check out my tutorial post How to make and wire wrap briolettes.

Very pretty, and nice color combination too!
ReplyDeleteThose turned out beautiful! I just used side drilled crystals in a pair of earrings for a prom jewelry set. I love how delicate the simple wire wrapping makes them. And they dangle so nicely!
