When we talk of cuff bracelets, we usually mean the beaded or wire wrapped ones But as yesterday's post on Cuffs Couture shows, there are also fabric ones, with or without sewn in pockets.

Chic Steals was inspired by a similar sort she saw in a magazine. So she designed and created this pleated DIY Edwardian cuffs tutorial. Adding your own beads, crystals, chains or brooches will really personalize the design.

Another DIY blogger, Adeline of Pretty Lil' Things did a fabulous job with her own version of Cuffs Couture. The pocket she made for credit cards is inside and has a velcro flap to keep them secure.

Made by Lex did a fantastic job with her Gold Runway Inspired Bracelet Tutorial below (update : link no longer works). She embellished a fabric cuff.

This shirt cuff tutorial by Stefi Luca is literally the real thing as it is made from actual shirt cuffs! She cut off a pair from a shirt, edged it and embellished with buttons and lace! You could certainly decorate it any way you like including using beads. It's a good way to recycle an old shirt. The bias tape edging will hide any worn edges.

Gaby A's Sock it to me wristband tutorial provides a delightful solution to all the odd socks you have left over after doing laundry. As you can see she embellished them for the young at heart. I think they make super "bracelets" for little children.
