The Tree of Life pendant design is very popular with many versions. If you check my past tutorial post, you'll see that I start at the top of the tree. I find it somewhat easier to wrap the wire there without any beads on.

However, if you really want lots of branches i.e. use a lot of wire lengths , it will be better if you start at the bottom with the tree "roots". Check out Lisa Hazell's lovely tree of life tutorial.

She uses 12 lengths of wire which are doubled up to give a working group of 24 to form the tree. The result is a wonderful variation which clusters the beads all around the frame.

She designed this as an ornament, but the design can easily be scaled down to any size you want. If you are a beginner, check my tutorial which includes how to make a simple frame.
