Every now and then Beading Daily puts out free project eBooks (you do have to register. also free on the site). This latest edition of 5 designs is delightful not least because they use crystals a lot. Crystals are not only popular inclusions but they make the work go faster! Not every one is that thrilled with tiny seed beads.
My favorite is #4, "Montee Magic" by Katherine Schwartzenberger. It's a right angle weave technique that will suit beginners and those who don't have much time for beading (that would be me!).

ReplyDeleteIt's hard not to love crystals, even a few crystals sprinkled cautiously in a piece gives it so much more glamour and people perceive it as a higher value. But when the whole piece is fashioned of glittering crystals the perception of high end jewelry sky rockets.
